About the Journal

Kerala Journal of Ayurveda (KJA) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the advancement of Ayurvedic science, education, clinical practice, and interdisciplinary research. The journal is published by the Kerala Govt Ayurveda College Teachers Association (AKGACAS), also known as Akhila Kerala Government Ayurveda College Adhyapaka Sanghatana, established on 21 April 1980 (Registration No. 215/80).

The journal was initially launched as a print publication in 2016 and continued until 2020. Recognizing the growing importance of digital scholarly communication, the journal transitioned to an online publishing model in 2022, providing wider accessibility and greater dissemination of scientific knowledge.

Kerala Journal of Ayurveda serves as a platform for researchers, academicians, clinicians, scholars, and healthcare professionals to publish original research, review articles, clinical studies, case reports, short communications, and interdisciplinary research related to Ayurveda and allied sciences.

The Editorial Board consists of experienced academicians, clinicians, and researchers with expertise in Ayurveda who are committed to maintaining high standards of scientific integrity, ethical publishing, and quality peer review.

Aim

The Kerala Journal of Ayurveda is committed to advancing knowledge, research, education, and clinical practice in Ayurveda by publishing high-quality scholarly work. The journal provides a platform for evidence-based research, innovative methodologies, and interdisciplinary collaborations that contribute to the promotion of health, wellness, and the scientific development of Ayurveda.
